Panorama from the Kessock Bridge.
I walked to the middle of the Kessock Bridge today to use the Panorama effect on this new camera. I'm quite pleased with the result, the stitching seems to have gone well in joining the three shots together.
The view from the left side is the Industrial Estate and then the Marina, followed by the entrance to the River Ness. Next is the old ferry pier and the inlet after that leads to the Caledonian Canal, past the Canal Keepers House. Further round is the main Inner Beauly Firth with the Ross-shire hills in the distance. This is looking west. As you swing round you see the farmland of the Black Isle on its southern shore, then you see the Village of North Kessock with its two unused piers. Further round you come to the Kessock Bridge where I'm standing.
So my blip for today is a Panorama of Inverness, The Inner Beauly Firth and North Kessock.
