Photo Journey

Pink Gerbera

Last weekend I got a lovely bouquet from my sister-in-law. As today came to a close and the natural light faded, I remembered I had no blip. I then looked around and spotted the flowers sitting on the window sill.

I took this using my smartphone and flash. The nice thing about the flash is that while it lights up the foreground, it makes the background very dark or black, thus eliminating distracting details. Of course the light is harsh which is why I generally don't like to use a flash. In this case I furhter processed the photo with Topaz Impression, giving the lines a kind of swirly look.

So not a no-blip day after all. And not a back blip.
