Wish I could join her!!

Pip enjoying an afternoon nap. Quiet day in the lambing field. The maternity ward is empty again all cleaned and and disinfected ready for new inhabitants. Last day of feeding the deer today its taken them all week to get used to the pick up. Seeing more and more turn up. I was videoing them and one young stag did a big leap and then fell over. Have to admit to a wee chuckle at his demise poor lad. He quickly got to his feet and ran off into the trees to hide in shame.

Went to the farm where we manage the livestock to get all the hoggs (last years female lambs) together. They are to be inspected tomorrow by the department. Husband and I a bit tense and apprehensive about the inspection. Looking forward to it being overwith.

Best bit about today was getting our tesco delivery now stocked up on food to keep us going through lambing. Phew!
