Still and early

Giving the dogs a wee walk before its light enough to check the lambing field and i get to see the sun rise over the still and reflective loch. Just beautiful.

New lamb this morning from one of oyr gimmers (first time lamber). Shes an ex pet lamb. Super job as it was up and fed and sticking right with her and she adores it. Managed to let out some that were in the shed into the sunshine today too which is good. 

Had a visit from some folk we met whilst gathering for another farmer on the island. They have a farm down in bedfordshire. It was nice for them to come down to visit us! And a nice break from the lambing fields! 

Started my birthday homebrew from my sister of raspberry and mango cider. Sounds interesting we will see how it turns out.

10c 10 mph W sunshine and heavy showers but the showers missed us!!!
