Lodore Falls

Or a section thereof...  The recent floods have completely changed the shape of the waterfall.  I've never seen it before but it was shocking to realise that very substantial rocks were actually new arrivals.

Credit and thanks for this blip really goes to John for showing me a better way of using multis to freeze the water rather than simply whacking up the iso to increase the shutter speed. 

Extras show morning and afternoon shots at different points around Derwentwater.  The 'weather' was still with us, but the sun did come out late afternoon.
