Langdale

Went into Windermere today, on what has been another sunshine and showers day with the emphasis being on showers. Called in at Chesters on the River at Skelwith Bridge on the way back, which is always worth a stop. Just past there on the way back we pulled into a layby to capture this stunning scenery. Worth putting up with the showers to get views like this. Putting one more in extras as I have just back blipped the entire weekend, and just noticed that I haven't blipped any of any of the Lakes, so prove I have been near them the extra is of Coniston, on our late afternoon walk along the lake side to Torver.
