Free Bird

A more beautiful day than anticipated - sunshine, sparkles, warmth, but slightly marred by having to go to a funeral. Or maybe not. It was a celebration of Peter's life. His friends spoke warmly of him, the vicar conducted things with gusto, the light streamed through the stained glass and the Easter flowers still looked beautiful. 

Enjoy with a bit of Lynyrd Skynyrd . I saw them the year before this gig - a somewhat chillier session, a damp field in Knebworth, Hertfordshire. Nonetheless I seem to remember they were pretty red hot. They don't make them like this any more- hang on in there until they go off on one!

And I've just found Knebworth! He's got the same hat on! Actually it looks quite warm. And so much hair! Damn, they were good!
