Weetwood rock art 2

Short walk by the river in the morning, and back home for lunch and to prepare the meal for tonight - venison pie.

Left the seared meat and veggies in the slow cooker and set off to Weetwood for a walk on the moor, with the intention of showing Lu the rock art we'd eventually managed to find just after Christmas. But we couldn't find it again! We did, however, find these two rather splendid cup and ring marks (see extra), on a large rock blocked off by a barbed-wire fence. There are quite possibly other such marks hidden under the moss and lichen.

A lovely walk with some fabulous views, and just long enough to make us feel that we'd earned our dinner!
