Rain, hail and sun

On the beach at Exmouth we looked up to first of all see a blue band in the sky (see extras) then about half an hour later a long band of cloud was heading our way across from Dawlish Warren, see photo.  We had a short hail shower a little rain and then back to sunny periods.  

So our friends managed to spend all day on the beach, building sandcastles, digging holes and even attempting to go for a swim.  Great fun.
