Look at the FISH!

James (5) wanted to visit a real fishmonger. Welch 's on Newhaven Harbour didn't disappoint. A special attraction was the long tank crammed with lobsters (they looked like lobsters - I'm no expert) climbing over one another, waving their huge claws which were restrained by elastic bands. (I think I felt sorry for them). Their tails were a wonderful navy blue. There were other shrimpy things that waved bits of themselves in a disconcerting manner on the ice .

I bought haddock.
