A Foggy Start Over The Bush

It was another stunning sunrise from up here on high, but what made this morning special was being above the fog that blanketed most of the area around the Rangitata.

This is the view looking down on Dennistoun Bush, its tall matai, totara and kahikatea poking their canopies out above the low mists.

Not long after sunrise, I took the dogs out for a walk up the hill before settling down to work. Fungi are starting to make their presence known in the damp mornings, so I was able to grab some shots like the one in the extra photos.
