Melting mist...

..seen here at the top of the St Ives Estate, transformed into a beautiful day.

Often when we turn into this field we see great sunrises but there seemed little chance of sun when we set out on what seem d a dull grey morning. Emerging from the woods there was a drift of mist about the trees at the edge of the field with the sun breaking through the clouds above. You never know what you will encounter on these walks.

I like the two sheep dogs, Dizzy and Pip, dashing off into the distance. Can you see them?

A bit of gardening later and then I cleaned out the car - only a month till it will hopefully take us to the far north.
I resisted cleaning all the garden furniture, remembering a previous lovely March day when I did this to be followed by a wet summer when we barely had a chance to sit out.

April tomorrow, soon enough for garden furniture.
