By the side of the road...

On the way home I spotted this lovely lapwing right at the side of the road. It was feeding and didn't seem as concerned as I was about it being so close to cars. Actually it flew off when a car came by any faster than the snail pace I was doing so it was fine...still...not a good place to feed!

Extras are another great crested grebe, this time doing the shouty/croaky thing and a male reed bunting doing a good imitation of a bearded tit whilst singing away at full throttle in the morning sunshine.

Wasn't the weather amazing? :)
