Blenheim Palace

As the weather forecast was promising we took ourselves off the Blenheim Palace for coffee.  The place was pretty busy what with the school holidays and the tourist buses piling in.  The nice thing about Blenheim is that there is plenty of room regardless of how many people are there.

We didn't do the house but had a look around the water terraces and lake, then walked over to the bridge.  Apparently when built there were thirty rooms in the bridge, many of them now under the water.  We then went out of the grounds via the triumphal arch and had a walk round Woodstock before driving home.

The extra is the boat house on the lake.
