It was sheep gathering and moving day. After a couple of attempts, and lots of running around (them and us!), we managed to collect this group of Hebridean sheep and get them into the trailer to take to Windsor Hill, one of our reserves further along the Chilterns. It was a lovely spring morning - Greater Spotted Woodpeckers were drumming, Green Woodpeckers were yaffling, Red Kites were whistling and Ravens were cronking overhead - so everyone was bright and cheerful, even the ewes. We have another group to round up and move next week.
