Palace Hotel

It was a better day today. I'm getting over my sulk and my strop.....

We were in Buxton today. The room we were to use for donations was absolutely freezing, it was just like walking into a fridge. The thermometer registered 10 degrees...it was completely unsuitable. We had to turn people away as we waited for heaters to arrive. In the end we moved into a much smaller room and used only four donation chairs, but at least we managed to get some blood tonight. 

It was gloriously sunny today and far warmer outside than in. In fact we actually sat outside in the sun to have our tea. 

Very sad to hear that Ronnie Corbett has died...we used to watch the Two Ronnies every Saturday night at my Grandparent's house....and it's goodnight from him.
