Loch Venechar Ripples

We took a walk around the 12 miles of Loch Venechar today in not so great weather so it was tricky to find something to shoot. However, halfway around I stumbled on a building site and realised that it was the floor of the Ripple Retreat which is being built for young people who are being treated for cancer and their families. This made me think about using the ripples of the loch as a featured image and the drops of rain on the water add to the idea. I quite like the painterly feel to this shot.
