I have a picture taken near this from 30 years ago.  It still had all four chimneys and was an architectural masterpiece.  Now, flogged off to spivs and foreign investors in mad schemes it could be a metaphor for modern London.

Another grand day in the big smoke; British Museum, then Proud Chelsea to see the James Hunt exhibition.  Tempted, but I was aware of the forthcoming bill.  Then, a walk along the river to the South Bank Centre, and dinner at Coin Street.  A great holiday comes to an end.
