Pick Up

Last day at the lovely flat, then bus and train to pick up the car from significant work done by the lovely Darrin at Citroen Classics in Staines (on Thames apparently, and he is). When the job and part list runs to three pages, it's no surprise when the wallet is a little lighter. Then a four hundred mile run up the road, with car quieter and much more efficient. Weather got wet as we got back to Scotland and then I hit, at speed, a pheasant that I couldn't avoid due to traffic and rain.
