Mini-break!

A little mini-break to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary kick-started with a night in York. Arrived in time for lunch - these platters of meats and cheeses - yum! - at the House of the Trembling Madness. It's almost a secret pub above a booze shop, not much to advertise it's existence, but worth hunting out.

Then a wander round the shops and some sightseeing (a brewery tour!), followed by an amazing dinner with my very good friend K (who lives in York) at a lovely French restaurant called Rustique.

Onwards to Nottingham tomorrow!
