Jungleland

All this rain is great for growing. This is the alley at the back of our house. I had quite a shock when I took our wheely bin out to the pavement this morning, trying to avoid the nettles as I was in my flip flops.
The plants have taken over the narrow part of the alley but I'm off to get some vinegar. When I was in Victoria, the maintenance man at my hotel swore by vinegar with a couple of spoonfuls of salt and the same of liquid soap. Weedkillers only work for a while and I hate using them so I'll give it a go. Watch out, weeds...
