Birdhouse challenge from finns!

New Pasila area of Helsinki was under construction, as I was walking to the train back home in the afternoon. Grey, warm & windy day +7c. 

Many of the migratory birds have again already moved to Finland, but number of them has decreased. 

As we have this challenge of building birdhouses in Finland going on, I would like to tell you more about it. Now a challenge to BBC is launched by Finnish Broadcasting Co.

It goes like this:
"The world's largest birdhouse campaign is under way in Finland. If we will build 1 million birdhouses in Finland, you British should make it to 12 million. 
The Finnish Broadcasting Company Yle challenges BBC to take part in helping the declined bird populations of Europe."

Of course all other nationalities are free to take part to the challenge too. Population of animals, this time birds, is our common concern, I believe.
