Not-a-nest

This is an ex-nest. It's the remains of a considerable amount of dogged (should that be pigeonned?) effort over the last couple of weeks by a wood pigeon intent on building a nest either on a sloping canopy over the door or on an unfeasibly narrow window ledge above. It's probably the same one as last year.
