Churchill at Chartwell

I've been very bad at updating Blip recently and I have no excuse apart from my forgetting to do it!

This is a model was used for the sculpture of Winston Churchill in the Houses of Parliament and now resides at Chartwell, his house in Kent, today managed by the National Trust and from where he went he would paint, write and do garden maintenance. A plaque on the one of the garden walls proudly announces it was built by Winston's own hands.

I was lucky to get a photo as I realised later picture taking is not allowed!
