Quod oculus meus videt

Late Clouds

Expectations were high.  Clouds were in abundance, but with plenty of gaps in between.  A good sunset?  I was hopeful.

It was an enjoyable late walk, but not much more than that.  The clouds seemed to melt away as the sun lowered in the sky, save for the stubborn one's sitting on the western horizon.  Low directional light extinguished, flat, dusk light became the norm.  It was well after sunset and these high clouds started to form.  They were the best available and in the absence of any other images, the only shots I have.
