Dinan

Arrived in Saint Malo and eventually found our way out and cycled down the east side of The Rance River to Dinan. Took this photo from the Bridge over the Rance of the lower part of the town. Cycled through the old centre of town which is very oldy worldly.

Bought a picnic lunch which we had later at a picnic spot. Headed off up the other side of the Rance and were looking for the entrance to one of the Greenways cycle paths when we bumped into the lady tourer from the ferry. She had taken the little ferry over to Dinard and was heading for Dinan.

Cycled up to Dinard, found the campsite and pitched the tent. Later walked along the beach taking photos. Too cold for a swim.

Total so far 80km (including Edinburgh, London and Portsmouth)
