my favourite

this is my favourite photo of today.

we had a lovely hike, some bits more difficult than we expected but the four kids managed really well and with very little complaining. We'd planned in an extra hour but ended up not needing it. Now we're heading for BBQ and some swimming. It was cold up there, it's hot down here.

We saw eagles but I wasn't fast enough to capture them so decided to just enjoy them flying around.
