Two Wee Speugs

Its been raining now for the last 24 hours almost non stop. What a change from all those blue sky days of last week!

SuziQ's parents returned home today after spending a few wonderful days with us. It was great catching up with them and they are so easy to get on with. Later in the morning son#1 went out on his mountain bike while the rest of us went for a walk to the Bay and had lunch in the Network Tearoom where the flapjacks were yummy. This is their last day on holiday with us so we are taking them out for dinner to Dunvalanree, our favourite restaurant in Carradale.

Choice of blips was somewhat limited by the weather, so I settled on the birds again as they approached the feeder. Lots of little Sparrows about, or Speugs as they are sometimes referred to in parts of Scotland. I liked this pair together and guess they probably came from the same nest.
