The Black Boy Fountain

The Black Boy Fountain is the view from my dentist's waiting room.  I had an 08:00 appointment and getting up early was a novelty!

The Black Boy is a local landmark dating from 1849. It is a 'B' listed building.  During the Easter holiday of 1981 Cameraman, our 9 month old baby and I sat here and ate a picnic lunch in between looking at houses and generally getting our bearings.  We've lived unadventurously, though very happily, in Stirling ever since.  And I've been going to the same dentist too!
