The Doctors

It's a good name for a pub. It refers to the fact that it is located opposite the old University of Edinburgh Medical School where tens of thousands of doctors were trained.

But its usefulness must be as a way of getting out of unwanted invitations. "Sorry, that would have been lovely, but I'm going to the doctors!"
