Verona holiday day 9

Katie and I couldn't resist another trip back to the beautiful Venice. Instead of sightseeing we went around all the shops today looking at all the wonderful masks, which are everywhere there. We spoke to a man who owned a mask shop and he said he (and other maskmakers) handmake the masks from paper mache and every February they have a mask festival which I thought was really interesting to hear about. These were some of the masks we saw in a shop and my sister trying one on. I think they're just great!
