Verona holiday day 10

Our last day on holiday and we decided to visit the Roman arena. The Arena was built in 30 AD and held around 30,000 people used for entertainment (theatre, festivals and gladiators fighting), chariot races, animal slayings and executions. The arena is just enormous I don't think you can really understand the sheer scale of it unless you see it for yourself .They do lots of concerts in the arena and we found out Duran Duran were playing that night too!
