Gold Dust

There's been absolutely no Great tit activity outside my kitchen today. I've put a sign on the box and reminded the postie, so we'll see.

I've been out for two walks today, once with TheAphid in which we got rained on, and the second one in bright sunshine and warmth!

This was taken down the track on the second walk. It was so warm that I felt overdressed in my coat and hat, having previously removed my gloves. I'm pretty sure it's a hoverfly of some sort enjoying the daisy. Spring was on the way this afternoon.
