Peacock and Ducklings

Went out his morning hoping to blip a squirrel but there were none to be seen. I did, however, see this rather tatty looking peacock butterfly., probably one that has overwintered here.

I also saw my first ducklings with very attentive parents. There were twelve of them zooming about on the water. I followed them from the path and although I took lots of shots none of them were that good, so I've put one in extras. Hopefully, I'll be able to get something better in the coming days. I thought they might be really early ducklings, but according to last year's blip, it's only a week earlier.
