Paying Your Dues

After a brilliant week it comes to and end today, or not so much an end but an intermission until the next visit.

A really quiet day spent at Las Dunas, Sarah and Manolo's gated complex relaxing. Showered and packed early I spent the day relaxing. Gary, Collette and Jake arrived around lunch time after checking out. One of the joys of this week has been spending time with Gary we chatted about all sorts over the course of the afternoon and early evening.

Having slept seven nights in Anais's room it was time to pay up, the rental being a Barcelona FC football shirt. Rather than buying the obvious I thought this looked more 'lady like', Anais certainly seemed pleased.

Bangers, mash & onion gravy cooked by Manolo for dinner and before you knew it we were ready to leave for the airport.

The French ensured we were 55 minutes taking off, the M25-M3 junction closed, road works on the M3, A303, A30 and the A303 closed for a stretch all made for a long journey, still underway at the close of the day.
