Daffy by the Pump

In this time of bleak and gray,
the daffodil comes out to play.

Cold enough for cocoa/marshmallow,
we're always glad to see this yellow.

I should throw the metal into the dump,
but it was Grandpa Jack's water pump.

Took a walk today with my buddy,
the woods were wet and slippery and muddy.
