New Paths

It's 1230 and we have done a day's activity already. She woke early, announcing she'd had an accident. We neither of us could settle after that. But it wasn't too bad as my sister was arriving about 730 for breakfast. Katie was very excited about that. Largely I think because it meant she could have two chocolate brioche for breakfast!

We had some music time and she played out in the garden before we set off for the morning concert. There's a classical music festival happening this weekend and they had a children's concert today. It was great. Se really enjoyed that she could answer their questions about the instruments and was fascinated by the huge bass clarinet. I do need to invest in the full carnival of the animals for her.

After the concert we cycled to holiday club. She was really pleased that her friend from school was there too. They did some Easter crafts whilst the mummies had coffee and hot cross buns. She came out with an Easter egg and a wee notebook plus a lovely craft.

We helped clear up and we cycled to the shops before we go home to enjoy garden time and she's going to get down to her composition homework that her music teacher has set her! Enough activity for one day? I think so....
