Leopard
Katie's got her ballet bestie here for the day, and possibly for a sleepover. She woke up pretty early, excited about the plans. By 9am I had finished the fence and done the colour-work in the kitchen. She wrote me a card thanking me for all my work on the painting.
When E arrived, the two of them immediately ran off to work on a show that they started last week when Katie slept there. The Bird, The Girl and The Leopard is not your conventional story. It features a girl and bird friends, who dance to tracks from Center Stage. The girl turns into a leopard and is sad because she is hungry but can't eat the bird. Instead she eats Olaf the snowman. Then the bird and leopard are happy because they can play together instead of worrying the leopard will eat the bird....
It's a crazy crazy afternoon with two little dancers who've not had dancing to go to for 2weeks now.....
The extra is Katie trying to teach E a piece from the start of one of her piano books
