Back-Blipping Barbara

This is the first part of the process to give the finished Barbara her patina or color. The extras are: the sculpture finished and sand-blasted in clean bronze. Next is the first chemical bath: liver of sulphur or potash. The main photo is me up on my little box scrubbing back the potash, which gives the sculpture more dimension when the colors are added. Then, back in the extras, you'll see the scrubbed Barbara....ready for the acid-colors.
