Last day on the water

Our last few hours on the island... It is so nice to wake up without an alarm! I still wake up around 7.30 am but the rest of the family sleeps a bit longer. Generally I sit outside enjoying the bird life, gaze out over the bay and catch up on the news online. Normally Abbie joins me around 8 am, Bert and Pippa follow around 9 am. We then have a leisurely breakfast together.
At the end of the morning I went snorkelling once more and Abbie and Pippa tried out these kayaks. The water is very choppy and visibility underwater wasn't great, but the girls loved their outing. So nice we can do this all from the jetty that belongs to our rental accommodation!
For lunch we went back to de Zeerover, the fish was as fresh as last time. I had a whole red bass, Bert and the girls pieces of barracuda. All very tasty indeed. That was a good last lunch!
Now we're packing and then we fly overnight back to Amsterdam...
