Exploring Oranjestad

Our last full day on the island :(
This morning was extremely lazy, hanging out in the shade, watching two little birds (suikerdiefjes) build a nest, watching some big ships pass by and finishing books we are reading.
At the end of the morning we drove to Oranjestad to visit the archeological museum and see if we could find some of the old Oranjestad. This photo was taken at the Zoutelande' fort. Only recognisable as a fort due to the big canons outside.
At the end of the afternoon we went back to Mangel Halto beach to snorkel. Thankfully we still have most of the day here tomorrow - not sure if I am ready to go back to Antwerp...
