Another bird shot

This is a large red-winged blackbird, sort of hiding in the rhododendron by the birdfeeder. This bird goes away when the weather gets cold and comes back in the spring - I think he's a little confused this year because it's been so cold for the past week. Rain all day today, I drove to pick up my mom and visit my dad in the hospital, took her shopping, then drove home again. A long day. He should be coming home on Saturday. Lesson to anyone who still smokes - he smoked for 30+ years, and the damage to his lungs has been done. Any slight bit of a cold turns into pneumonia and in the hospital he goes.
