A Host of Golden Daffodils

Spring is feeling extremely cold at the moment or so it felt this morning as I wandered lonely as one of the host of proverbial daffodils in my quest to find not only the defining blip of the day, but a shop to shorten a pair of jeans professionally.

There was a time when expense constraints would have found me with a mouthful of pins and the scissors in an effort to do it myself; not now however, the professionals do it so much better and more quickly too.

The big question in my mind though is are my legs so short that even short jeans have to be shortened or are the short jeans too long for the description.
This has not happened before, so maybe it is my legs that are shrinking with age and not my spine.

Other than that, the day has been enhanced with a lovely coffee meet up with daughter#1, where life and its problems were sorted out in a characteristically amusing and laughter filled way.

It seemed to be handbags at dawn when I saw this extra blip in the Meadows this morning.
