My 200th blip!

well, there's nothing like a good nights sleep in your own bed. quite a mild evening, compared with what temps had been before hols. woke up early doors, as lots to do today. not surprised to see the rain!

nice surprise as i opened my back door to see my neighbour Chris had mowed my lawn (twice as it happens) whilst i was on hol....everybody needs good neighbours!

round to 49 and the chimney chap came to sort out fitting my cast iron fireplace. not as straightforward as i'd hoped, but he can fit it today. after i'd picked myself up off the floor (after he'd told me how much it would cost!!!...definately in the wrong job!!), me and mum went to see a poorly Alex perform in his final end of term show (Goldielocks & the 3 bears) at his school, before he moves to the IOM in the summer - he was classic as usual!

Home then and whilst waiting to take Greg out for birthday tea at Nando's, i managed to strip down the stair banister for 49- want to take it back to wood, lightly stain and varnish.

nice tea out with mum and Greg - was able to get him a couple of beers now he's 18! called in at 49 and the chimney man still fitting the fireplace....hope it's all ok, says he'll be working til after 10pm, just hope he won't chip my beautiful tile surround!
