C'mon baby light my fire!

Well it didn't take long to have a rubbish nights sleep...woke at 3am for a couple of hours, too much whizzing round in head of what's left to do.

Up at seven and breakfast then off to paint the landing and high stairwell at 49.

Good news and a bit of a relief is that the fire looks superb. From a rusting old fireplace I picked up from Fletchers Yard, for £60, its come up superb! I stripped it down, primed and painted, found a new hood for it, and bought some stunning art deco tiles that set if off completely. The finishing touch is the oak surround, and granite hearth. Love it!!

Painting took me ages. In between we set up mums new bed, which had an early visitor to it, beautiful Ava came to visit.

Chucked it down most of the day, so pleased to be inside with plenty to do. Painting done, then I set about swapping fridge abc freezers doors round....wished I'd not started that!

All done, long day, Rioja and chilli for dinner. Writing tomorrow's job list now...
