R is for Reliable

Well for the last couple of years i have been privileged to play in my reliable old white trainers. They've seen me through the glories of overhead kicks, and the shames of own goals, but they have never let me down. In the last few weeks however they have began to fall apart, and before times get to worst, they have been hung up for retirement with fond memories.
So what now for my Footwear. It would take something special to follow up these bad boys. But i think i may have found my replacements.
To see if the boots were up to the job, i arranged a hail storm, followed by a thunder storm riddled with lightning, whilst continuous torrential rain, and i don't believe the boots let me down once, no slips, good control, and hard enough for a tackle, to cap off one of my best performances this year.
So farewell old reliable white trainers, and welcome brand new blue boots.
