Or shadow, whatever floats your boat.
So in my trail of thought, The Lord of the Rings is the best book ever, and one of thew coolest things about it, especially the fellowship of the ring, are the dark riders. Some of the best bad guys in cinematography too, and the whole shadowy theme seemed to fit in well.
