BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT HERON
We woke up to different weather conditions this morning, warm and sunny with a slight breeze. After breakfast we drove to the transformed (managed) marshes of the Coto Donana National Park. Birds were in abundance, our guide spotted three Black-crowned Night Herons in a tree and as we were focussing our binoculars and cameras a flock of about thirty flew out of a nearby tree and past very close to us.
My extra is of Flamingos in the lagoon outside our room, taken at the end of the day
