hornets

i have seen exhibits of the work of dale chihuly 3 times, most recently last year in boston, where i went not once but twice.

this is the first time i have been to one of his exhibits where all the installations (over 20 of them) were outside. headed over to the dallas arboretum with my mom, my brother, and his girlfriend, deva.

it was all so beautiful, choosing a blip was very hard. several outtakes here. i really loved the one pictured in "explosive color." but these up here were my favorites. i have never seen any piece of his like this.

i am feeling very overwhelmed by EVERYTHING right now. not sleeping much and not keeping to the kind of schedule i normally like. hoping to get enough accomplished to take a short three day vacation to austin this weekend and do some camping. we shall see.
