A relaxed approach to H&S
We went to Switherns farm today which I loved. It was cheap as chips, £3 for an adult, under 5s went free and was properly rough n ready. Some farms are a bit too neat but this one felt very much like a working farm which just so happens to be open to the public.
Ben was fearless in his animal feeding and was offering carrots on his palm to massive cows, sheep, pigs....but refrained from feeding the little lambs a bottle of milk because "they're too scary".
As well as animals they were hay bales, bounce castles, rope swings etc for kids to play on with the disclaimer " children should be supervised at all times". I particularly liked this 8ft hay bale, which the kids leapt from onto the trampoline!
